The kipha’ri is a weapon used in aerial combat
Most siathi who live in Salcreria don’t carry weapons or have any in their homes. This is largely due to the cost of importing metal from outside but also partially due to the fact that it simply isn’t necessary. The soldiers are all armed in case something should happen and Salcreria is isolated from the rest of Keverynn. It’s rare that anyone feels the need for personal protection. Those that do have a personal weapon usually only have a small knife or dagger, rarely anything bigger. Only the Tower Masters carry large swords.
